Why We Love The Jerusalem Cross

Why We Love The Jerusalem Cross

I love the Jerusalem Cross so much because it’s so rich in symbolism:

Some historians believe that the large cross is a symbol of Christ, while the four smaller crosses represent the four gospel writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Other historians believe that the large cross is a symbol of Jerusalem and the four smaller crosses represent the four cardinal directions: North, South, East, and West symbolizing the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the Earth.

It’s just so amazing to me! And it’s also one of my prayers for Pietà Paperie: to share the beauty of the heart of God, the Gospel, & our Catholic Faith with all those who receive our stationery & hold it in their hands!

Whether they are devout Catholics, fallen away Catholics, or perhaps individuals who have NEVER been introduced to Jesus or our beautiful Catholic faith, rich in wisdom, Truth, house of the Eucharist—the Body, Blood, Soul, & Divinity of Jesus Christ—life-saving medicine & mystical marriage of our souls.

I pray that our stationery is a vessel for the Lord through which to bless. I pray that each and every one who receives our stationery & holds it in their hands will know Beauty Himself!
